PPC Marketing Analyst

Job Description

In this role you will handle the day-to-day management and optimization of multiple paid search, paid social, comparison shopping engine and display accounts using a combination of native ad platforms, software tools, and scripts. Initially, you will be responsible for developing and implementing PPC strategies, managing budgets and bids, optimizing account configurations and targeting, and client reporting. This is a non-client facing role that reports directly to our Director, Paid Media.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, such as daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions, bid management, negative keywords, website and category exclusions, ad creative, and landing page revisions based on performance targets and client objectives.
  • Support client PPC strategy. This entails aiding our Director, Paid Media with planning and managing campaign performance, account setup, strategy development, management, budget allocation, copywriting, optimization, A/B testing and audits
  • Manage all client recurring client deliverables/projects and ad hoc requests using project management software (Asana)
  • Regularly reflect on new lead/revenue/conversion opportunities for your respective clients (and present ideas that have the highest probability of success to the Director, Paid Media)
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting findings, insights and recommendations/next steps to Director, Paid Media
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead advanced projects
  • Forecast, plan, and work towards achieving account growth objectives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
  • Google AdWords Certification
  • Strong knowledge of Adwords Display, Search, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, Instagram & Retargeting Advertising
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification preferred
  • At least 1 year experience in the digital advertising and/or paid search industry
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibilities
  • Ability to be an advanced technical/discipline leader, and manage client communication without requiring involvement from an account manager
  • Must be able to analyze paid search and analytics data and make specific recommendations supported by metrics
Compensation
  • $40,000-$55,000 salary (based on experience level)
  • Up to $5,000 in bonus (based on performance, paid out annually)
  • 1% revenue share on all client accounts under your management after your first 6 months (e.g. if you are managing $50,000 in monthly recurring agency revenue, you will be paid an additional $500/month)
